The Stones Behind Our Bracelets

The Stones Behind Our Bracelets

At Everenci, every bracelet begins with material selection.

We work with natural stone not only for its beauty, but for its depth - formed over time, shaped by nature, and rich with history.

We honour the traditions, symbolism, and craftsmanship that have surrounded these stones for centuries. Below, you’ll find the stones currently used in our collections.

Hazel - Green Dragon Stone

Often referred to as Dragon Stone, this material is typically a combination of green epidote with red piemontite inclusions. Its distinctive marbled appearance gives each bead a layered, almost volcanic character.

Throughout various traditions, dragon-associated symbolism has represented strength and vitality. The stone’s earthy tones reflect that sense of grounded intensity - bold, but natural.

Each bead carries visible variations, which make every bracelet subtly unique.

Dark Blue - Sodalite

Sodalite is recognised for its deep blue base colour, often marked by white calcite veining.

Discovered in Greenland in the early 19th century and later popularised in decorative arts, sodalite has long been valued for its rich colour and smooth polish. In symbolic traditions, it has often been associated with logic and clarity of thought.

Its refined navy tone makes it one of the most elegant stones in our collection.

Blue - AB Grade Blue Apatite

Blue apatite is a phosphate mineral admired for its vivid ocean-like hues. “AB grade” refers to its higher clarity and colour consistency within bead quality standards.

Historically, apatite has been appreciated more for its appearance in jewellery than for mythological lore. In contemporary crystal symbolism, it is often linked to inspiration and personal development.

Its brightness adds a precise, striking contrast to more muted tones.

Gray - Dyed Jade

This stone is jade that has undergone colour enhancement to achieve its soft gray tone.

Jade itself holds profound historical significance, particularly in East Asian cultures, where it has symbolised harmony, balance, and virtue for thousands of years. While the gray shade is modern in appearance, it carries the legacy of jade craftsmanship and cultural value.

Its muted elegance makes it particularly versatile.

Deep Green - Peridot Jade

Peridot jade features a rich, saturated green tone. The term is often used in the jewellery trade to describe jade varieties with brighter green characteristics.

Green stones across cultures have frequently symbolised renewal and continuity. The depth of this shade gives it a composed and confident presence.

It is both classic and distinctive.

Green - Jade

Green jade remains one of the most historically revered ornamental stones in the world.

Highly valued in Chinese, Mesoamerican, and other ancient cultures, jade has long represented integrity, wisdom, and protection in symbolic traditions. Its durability and smooth finish have made it a preferred carving and jewellery material for centuries.

Its timeless appeal requires little embellishment.

Light Brown - Golden Tiger Eye

Tiger eye is a variety of quartz known for its chatoyancy - a silky, moving light effect caused by fibrous inclusions.

Used historically in Roman jewellery and later popular across Europe, tiger eye has often been associated in folklore with courage and strength. Its golden-brown bands create depth and warmth within each bead.

It is structured, luminous, and unmistakable.

Brown - Bronzite

Bronzite is a silicate mineral belonging to the pyroxene group, recognised for its deep brown colour with subtle metallic flashes.

Though less mythologised than some other stones, bronzite has been valued for its polished sheen and durability. In modern symbolic interpretations, it is sometimes connected with steadiness and resilience.

Its understated metallic glow gives it quiet strength.

Natural Variation

Natural stone is not uniform - and that is intentional.

Variations in tone, inclusions, and pattern are inherent to the material’s geological formation. These differences are not imperfections, but evidence of authenticity.

At Everenci, we select each stone for its visual integrity, durability, and historical depth. The meaning you attach to it is personal - but the craftsmanship behind it is deliberate.

More Than Material

Jewellery has always marked connection - between friends, partners, siblings, and moments in time. A bracelet becomes a quiet reminder: of a shared memory, a promise, a milestone, or simply the decision to show someone that they matter.

At Everenci, the stones are the foundation. The connection you attach to them is what gives them life.
